This private residence was custom-built for our wonderful clients in Ocean Ridge, Florida. The interiors, designed by The Decorators Unlimited, were imagined in a transitional style. Transitional style is an interior design approach that blends traditional and modern elements to create a timeless, balanced, and comfortable space. The design choices were intentional, and the home includes many statement pieces. Contemporary lighting creates a statement throughout the home, including a hanging lighted rope fixture over the dining table that can be displayed in multiple ways. The living room’s showstopper is a quartzite, lighted fireplace that serves as the focal point of the room. The exceptional furnishings include exquisite pieces from Holly Hunt, with a curved sofa and stylized chair anchoring the room. Each of the bedrooms features a tonal textured wallpaper and luxurious natural stone ensuite bathrooms. 

Located in exclusive Ocean Ridge, the contemporary interior also draws inspiration from the surrounding coastal community. Although the residence is designed primarily with tone-on-tone neutrals, pops of blue are used throughout. Details such as warm wood accents around the door frames and kitchen cabinetry also add a coastal vibe to the modern aesthetic. This transitional private residence offers an inviting and curated atmosphere that is both functional and refined.
