A Grand Arrival, Reimagined:
The arrival experience sets the tone. At the heart of the clubhouse, The Decorators Unlimited reconfigured the grand lounge to enhance flow, comfort, and functionality. Guests step into a double-height space framed by a bookmatched marble feature wall, custom millwork, and soft architectural lighting. A statement chandelier anchors the space, offering elegance without excess.
The Decorators Unlimited introduced a layered, architectural entry sequence that immediately communicates refinement and warmth. The expansive space offers multiple seating vignettes in a palette of neutral tones and rich textures defined by a bespoke rug, architectural ceiling details, and layered lighting. Floor-to-ceiling custom drapery accentuates the scale, and a grand piano finds a home by the window. The finishing touches include shiny brass lamps, elegant oversized sconces, and a touch of greenery. A luxury clubhouse reimagines what community living can look like — sophisticated, warm, and intentionally designed for an active, discerning lifestyle.

The Goal: Refined Living
The Decorators Unlimited was commissioned to redesign and elevate this 41,000 square foot signature community clubhouse, transforming it into a refined, hospitality-inspired environment that reflects the sophistication and lifestyle of its residents. The homeowners were thrilled to welcome The Decorators Unlimited to reimagine the space built thirteen years earlier. Every inch of the clubhouse was updated with new flooring, carpeting, fixtures, furniture, and décor in a warm, neutral palette highlighted by pops of a sophisticated teal blue. The result is a clubhouse that feels less like a shared amenity and more like a private luxury resort.

First Impressions
The goal was simple: create a first impression worthy of a premier gated community. Custom millwork, sculptural lighting, and a soft neutral palette create a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. Rather than a traditional front desk, the space features a concierge-style window and includes tailored furnishings, curated artwork, and intimate seating moments. Ceiling detail and expanded entryways allow for easy flow throughout and an updated look.

By creating multi-purpose spaces, each room maintains design cohesion while expressing its own personality. Understanding that active residents pursue diverse interests, The Decorators Unlimited designed several specialty rooms, including a café, lounge, billiards room, multiple card rooms, arts & crafts room, and a wellness center.

Elevated Culinary & Entertaining Spaces
Residents of the community enjoy an active social calendar, so the culinary and entertainment areas were thoughtfully redesigned to accommodate gatherings of all sizes. The Decorators Unlimited expanded the café to include 48 more seats and enclosed the covered patio with screens for additional seating. The Café is enhanced with dramatically lit custom millwork, including a decorative partition wall, offering an elevated backdrop for dining. Pops of teal blue, patterned banquettes, and abstract artwork finish the space. The bright and festive café is now the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends.

Bar & Lounge
The bar and lounge room is thoughtfully designed by The Decorators Unlimited, featuring multiple cozy seating areas, including upholstered banquettes, stylish cocktail tables, and comfortable furnishings. The chic natural stone bar replete with a waterfall edge is the highlight of the space, offering stylish storage, amenities, and a design focal point. Detailed metallic tile serves as the backdrop, and oversized sconces add a touch of glamour.

Card Rooms & Poker Room
Card Room: With four busy card rooms, The Decorators Unlimited chose contemporary grey lacquered card tables, a lively carpet, and teal velvet chairs that are both stylish and comfortable. Brass sconces and curated artwork complete the chic look.
Poker Room: Designed in shades of tonal grey, this room offers residents an exceptional setting to play poker, with new furnishings including grey velvet chairs, a tonal rug, artwork, and lighting. Ceiling detail was added as a functional way to modernize the space.

Billiard Room & Library
To create a multi-use space combining the billiard room and library, a wall of custom-built-ins was added to provide ample book storage and visual interest. A graphic rug in ivory, black, and grey grounds the room, and a large-scale contemporary light fixture over the billiard table makes a statement.
The social hall was updated with modern technology

The large-scale auditorium is designed for Broadway-style performances, galas, and lectures. To update this important space, The Decorators Unlimited added graphic ceiling details, incorporating a dramatic lighting moment in the center to add a touch of glamour. Striking blue velvet chairs invoke a high-end theater feel. Wall sconces, floor-to-ceiling drapery, and custom-designed wood panels ground the space. Modernizing the audiovisual, lighting, and stage is key to the overall upgrade, with acoustic enhancements seamlessly integrated into the ceiling details.

An exceptional use of space, the private board of directors’ multi-functional room has strategic lighting, updated technology, and ample seating for productive meetings.

Wellness-Driven Luxury
Today’s luxury communities prioritize wellness as much as aesthetics. The fitness and wellness areas are reimagined with a spa-inspired approach, combining performance materials with calming finishes. Soft neutral tones, warm wood accents, resilient flooring, and layered lighting create a tranquil yet energizing environment. The design supports both active workouts and restorative moments. The fitness studio, yoga room, and state-of-the-art fitness center receive updates to built-ins, lighting, and flooring to create a welcoming space for exercise.
Art Studio: A bright, cheerful room was updated to include durable work surfaces, ample daylight, gallery-style display walls, and multiple storage options. All materials were designed to withstand creative projects and to be multi-use.

An Active Lifestyle
South Florida living demands a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. The Decorators Unlimited conceptualized and installed expansive screens that greatly expand the dining area. This new feature integrates the clubhouse with its outdoor amenities, including resort-style seating areas and a large pool deck. The designer carefully selected weather-resistant materials to maintain design continuity with the interiors while ensuring long-term durability in Florida’s climate.

Throughout the project, The Decorators Unlimited maintained a consistent design philosophy: sophisticated, layered, and enduring. The curated palette includes: warm oak millwork, subtle neutral textiles, sculptural lighting installations, polished stone, and refined metallic accents. Rather than following fleeting trends, The Decorators Unlimited focused on creating a space that will remain elegant and relevant for years to come.

The redesigned clubhouse at Valencia Reserve is now a true reflection of luxury lifestyle living in Boynton Beach. It supports connection, celebration, wellness, and relaxation — all within an elevated, intentional setting. Ultimately, the clubhouse redesign was about more than finishes and furnishings; it was about creating a setting that fosters connection while honoring the residents’ lifestyle.
The result is a space that feels elevated yet comfortable, grand yet intimate — a destination within the community that residents are proud to call their own. Luxury is no longer just about aesthetics; it’s about experience. And this clubhouse now delivers both beautifully.

When designing for a luxury community, the goal is not simply to create a beautiful space — it’s to craft an environment that reflects accomplishment, comfort, connection, and ease. While the clubhouse’s physical footprint remained the same, the interior was completely reimagined to create a dynamic space for the members. For the exterior, The Decorators Unlimited added a fresh paint color and a new roof, modernizing the curb appeal.
