The client gave interior designer Alexis Venanzi very basic instructions: “museumesque with an evil genius vibe.”
He wanted the wow factor: things no one had ever seen before.
“The builder and I had a lot of fun and took some risks, and I couldn’t be prouder of the end result,” said Venanzi.

My favorite part was seeing my client react at the end. It’s genuinely a showstopper house, and I think we delivered everything he was hoping for and more. When you’re “married” to a project and a client for more than two years, the final result and seeing it come together is always my favorite.
With such a special house and so many unique elements, the best is when people ask, “What is that!?”
