The California-inspired interior design takes center stage at this modern Mediterranean-style estate. A talented team custom-designed and built this home for our clients on an expansive oceanfront lot in Jupiter Island, Florida. The Spanish-influenced architecture and grounds were reimagined in a thoroughly modern way for this busy family of four.
Â
Incorporating select antiques from the client’s former historic home and adding exceptional modern pieces, designer Lisa Lalalounis created a space that truly resonates with the architecture and setting. The chic green lacquered at-home office showcases an exciting mix of styles. The living room presents an interesting contrast between Mediterranean-style wood beams and minimalist, sleek, curved furniture. With sweeping beachfront views and attention to every detail, the kitchen is the center of the home. For this space, Lisa chose earthy wood tones and designated metal finishes, which were inspired by the home’s windows. Curio cabinets display the client’s everyday dishes and add dimension to the room.Â
The overall design captures a relaxed sophistication: casual yet elevated, rooted in Mediterranean tradition but infused with a fresh, coastal spirit inspired by California—perfectly designed for the exclusive, beachfront lifestyle of Jupiter Island.
